Akin’s services cater to your ancestry project—combining specialized design and research to curate your unique retrospective.
Our design process begins with a comprehensive consultation, one that establishes your aspirations, your preferred style and tone, and the materials you have available for your project. A design presentation will be prepared and reviewed to address any narrative or content preferences, and your project will be proofed and edited before Akin provides the final for approval. Upon approval, your project will be fabricated or printed, and then delivered to you.
Each of Akin’s products includes a minimum number of hours for genealogical research to verify information or to discover new details. Should your project require additional research to learn more about your ancestral history, uncover or confirm family stories, or make a link between an heirloom and its origin—we can offer these services
An estimate for these services and printing costs will be provided to you once the project commences. The timeline of your project is dependent on what you hope to create— whether a book, a box, other materials, or a compilation—you can see estimated timelines under each product page
